THE CWA VISION
CWA is an international screenwriting contest known for having the writer's interest at heart when it comes to development and industry promotion. We have built relationships with some of the industry's most recognized companies, all of which are aggressively looking for fresh, new material. At CWA, we have made it our goal to expose talented new writers to many of these A-list companies. By doing so, our vision is to help writers garner the exposure and recognition they need to propel their personal projects and careers forward. Now going into our third year, with several options signed for past entrants, we have firmly established ourselves worldwide as a leading source for discovering emerging talent in the entertainment industry. CWA winning screenplays are circulated to top agencies, film studios, managers, producers, and international financers looking for their next project and writer. But that’s not all; CWA has secured an unprecedented amount of commitments from prominent companies to take first looks at our top winners. These companies include:

For the 2010 season, CWA judges will give out 16 Awards in 10 categories. This is all in addition to the prominent film industry commitments, publicity and promotion that CWA does on behalf of the winners. Creative World Awards LLC Directors, Heather Waters & Marlene Neubauer Marlene Neubauer has worked in international film distribution for over 17 years at such prominent companies such as Capella Films (AUSTIN POWERS, CARLITO'S WAY); Pathe UK Distribution; Mobius Pictures; GreeneStreet Films, Hyde Park International among others. Currently she works as an independent consultant, producer and writer. Heather Waters has worked in many facets of the entertainment industry for the past fifteen years including as an actress, singer-performer, television writer and producer. Waters studied screenwriting and cinematography at the graduate film school of Georgia State University (GSU). She also holds B.S. and M.A. degrees in International Politics. SPONSORS
